Myers Park is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Charlotte, NC. The subidivion is around 2,200 acres and
houses close to 10,000 people. These houses range from the mid $200,000's (closer to Park Road Shopping Center) up to
the mid $3 millions (on and close to Queens Road / Queens Road West). Most of the houses in Myers Park were built
between the 1930's and 1950's...many have recently been renovated or rebuilt.

Myers Park's streets are lined with large trees that give the sidewalks and parks the canopy needed to make this subdivision
a social atmosphere. The residents of Myers Park and Charlotte alike work hard to protect these trees from the canker
beatle/canker worm. These beatles must climb the trees to lay their eggs in the tops. The worms hatch and try to eat all of
the foliage. This is the reason for all of the rings that you see around the trees in Charlotte and the reason that the planes
"crop dust" Charlotte every 3-4 years.
Myers Park houses one of Charlottes most popular parks in Freedom Park. This park offers a fishing pond, walking trails,
tennis courts, playground, baseball fields, soccer fields, outdoor pavilion and picnic tables/shelters.
The streets and sidewalks of Queens Rd. & Queens Rd. W have become popular spots for bikers and walkers. Myers Park
has several popular restaurants and bars located on East Blvd., Selwyn, and Montford. Myers Park has easy access to Harris
Teeter grocery stores, local florists and hardware stores.
The location, beautiful houses, treelined streets and overall neighborhood reputation make Myers Park one of Charlottes
premier subdivisions.
